Hi, I’m Lindsey Vontz

I help independent restaurants, breweries, and hospitality businesses build clearer brands, stronger digital presence, and smarter growth systems.

My work sits at the intersection of brand strategy, digital visibility, and practical marketing execution. The goal is simple: help the right guests discover your business, understand what makes it special, and keep coming back.

Experience

I’ve spent more than 20 years working in marketing and brand strategy, including leadership roles at global technology companies and high-growth challenger brands.

Throughout that time, I developed a deep skill set in positioning, messaging, digital strategy, and customer experience. I’ve led global marketing teams, helped scale emerging brands, and worked across industries where clear storytelling and strong digital presence directly impact growth.

Why restaurants?

For most of my career, I worked in marketing roles at large companies that claimed they were helping small businesses and creators. I loved the work itself, but the outcomes often felt far removed from the communities those companies said they served.

During the pandemic, I began working more closely with local businesses in my Oakland neighborhood through the Dimond Improvement Association. For the first time, I was using my skills to help restaurants, cafés, breweries, and other gathering places that actually shape neighborhoods.

The work felt immediately more practical and meaningful, and it changed the direction of my career. Today I focus on helping independent hospitality businesses build stronger brands, clearer digital presence, and marketing systems that support long-term growth.

How I work

My approach starts with clarity.

Most independent restaurants don’t need more marketing channels or constant content creation. What they need is a stronger foundation: clear positioning, a website that actually answers guests’ questions, and a digital presence that makes it easy for people to find and choose them.

From there, the work focuses on practical improvements that compound over time. Strengthening visibility in search, refining brand messaging, improving the guest journey online, and building marketing systems that are sustainable for small teams.

The goal is always the same: make marketing simpler, more effective, and easier to maintain.

Curious if this is the right fit?

If you’re exploring ways to strengthen your restaurant’s brand, visibility, or marketing systems, I’m always happy to start with a conversation.
